Learn how to use your voice and body to create and tell stories in an exciting and theatrical manner!
Develop a theatrical language using voice, movement and the elements of drama and apply these skills to the creation of a piece of devised theatre.
In this fun class for older kids, students will explore elements of drama and theatre such as character, setting, objectives and given circumstances. They will unleash their inner superhero (or villain) and write a short script inspired by the superhero genre.
The core of this workshop is to learn how to have body focus and to train to sustain a physical character. All exercises are taken from elements of Mime, Clown and Commedia Dell' Arte.
